About Me

I LOVE a good card.  As a young girl I designed the card myself, meticulously writing the intended recipient's name in perfect bubble letters.

As a young adult, I started collecting special cards from quant gift shops and  kept them in an accordion organizer, separated by occasion. I had journals overflowing with favorite quotes and dates to remember, and I was incredibly good at taking the time to write thoughtful cards to special people in my life.

Now, all these years and four children later, I've become a TERRIBLE card sender. My stockpile of cute cards is long-gone and I am too busy to haul to the store, and too cheap to pay as much as $20 for  a single card - no matter how perfect and beautiful it might be.  I understand that many cards get quickly chucked in the trash and even the most sentimental card recipients struggle with clutter, and wouldn't  keep any card for posterity.  Nevertheless, I long for the feeling contentment and pride  I had when I sent a card to a friend or family member, and knew it  would make their day, give them a laugh or convey that I'd been thinking of them.  I missed being good at remembering milestones and occasions in a timely manner, with a thoughtful card.

They say most businesses are begun out of necessity and I started Molly Moods in an effort to regain my sense of self as a thoughtful card giver, without the hassle and expense of going to gift stores and making a purchase. Simply download the design, and print it on your home computer, or send the design as a text image. Easy, peasy, and you'll feel so great about your "Happy Sentiments Without the Sad Expense!"

Incidentally, the "Molly" of Molly Moods isn't me, but rather  my 14 year old daughter.  By naming  the company after her, I hope to capture, the confidence, fun and indomitable spirit of youth! Sometimes life really has a habit of weighing you down; I'm willing to bet that the child in all of us celebrates the colorful designs imbedded in the patterns of life. I hope my happy designs bring out the fun in you and encourage you to connect with those you love, even if it has been a while!

Life is short. Send the card, hang the picture, throw the party! Live life with no regrets, see the good, and stay true to who you are!

Love & Laughs,

Beth

This is me.  I am a  little "washed and worn," but I am really working on, as Maya Angelou says: "liking myself, liking what I do and liking how I do it." I'd love to have you join the "Molly Moods" community!
